Stampinup onstage Birmingham

Well what a fabulous weekend seeing all my Stampin up family in Birmingham. We celebrated 30 years of the company and we celebrated in style!

The convention was held at ‘the vox’ In Birmingham which only took a few hours to get there Friday night ( would have been quicker if it wasn’t pouring down with rain)

Saturday morning started with a cup of tea and an alpen bar. Then off we went. Greeted with our badges and new merchandise we hurried along to find our extended family. The day was packed full of live demonstrations, make and takes, learning more about the business, dancing singing and recieveing lots and lots of FREEBIES! Not a bad way to spend a Saturday right?

The afternoon drew to a close so we made our way to zizis..... all 27 of us haha.
Food was fab and the drinks and gifts where flowing. We laughed, we joked we had in-depth conversations and we booked our hotels for next years convention.

Morning,

     My last post of the week before the weekend and I have this little beauty to share with you.
I have only used a sentiment.... and that sentiment is from the 'dandelion wishes' set. CUTE!!!

Very basic and easy card to make, its just all layering to give it that dimension.

                       I've used stampin up new ribbon and metallic thread is this card.

Follow your dreams card

Good morning all,
                  Hope you've had a wonderful weekend!

Today's card is using " chase your dreams" stamps and framelits.

All I did was heat emboss the stamp, use an aqua painter and petal pink and so saffron ink to wash over the raised image. splatted a little so saffron over the top then added a few sequins for decoration. I placed the sentiment on last and to give the card a little dimension I used the hexagon embossing folder. details of all the products are shown below.

Its all about the box's this week!!

Good morning all,

 Yep its all about the box's this week. nThe begining of the week a posted a simple pillow box spruced up a little and today I'm demonstrating exactly the same sentiment but on a mini gable box. These box's come pre cute and scored so all you have to do is simply fold and add your sentiment. (People tend to think you've spent ages making the box's when you haven't at all) That the beauty of stampin up products, Its all there all you have to do is use your imagination to dress the product up!!

Love love these box's absolutely fantastic for truffles, bracelet or a small gift.

NEW kraft pillow box's!!

Good morning, Good morning, how was your weekend?

Mine was relaxed with a trip to Bournemouth Saturday evening and pottering around the house on Sunday. #lush.

This morning I wont be showing you a card, but a simple pillow box made pretty :).
Minimal supplies used which is fantastic for beginners or for those of you who are wondering what to purchase.

Good morning all!!

I just wanted to show you all how you can still create a beautiful card using minimal supplies. All I have done with this card is simply stamped, colored, added a few sequins and layered it to give it a little dimension. I find coloring extremely therapeutic and now that we have the new 'stampin blends' it just makes everything much easier and more professional looking.

According to 'The guardian' (Newspaper)  

New Zealand researchers say their study shows anxiety and depression may be reduced by coloring in for as little as 10 minutes a day.

So why not start coloring in your lunch break or in the evening when its your winding down time?
