sending love ~ Floral frames stamp set

Good morning all!!

I just wanted to show you all how you can still create a beautiful card using minimal supplies. All I have done with this card is simply stamped, colored, added a few sequins and layered it to give it a little dimension. I find coloring extremely therapeutic and now that we have the new 'stampin blends' it just makes everything much easier and more professional looking.

According to 'The guardian' (Newspaper)

New Zealand researchers say their study shows anxiety and depression may be reduced by coloring in for as little as 10 minutes a day.

So why not start coloring in your lunch break or in the evening when its your winding down time?

calypso coral baby card

Good morning all,  how are we all coping with the summer holidays?

So far all we've been doing is either shopping for school clothes or attending Olivia's ballet performances. This week has been a relaxing and taking each day kind of week, and its come to Wednesday and I'm tired because its been so relaxed #oops!

Today I am sharing a card that I will be giving to a friend of mine who is expecting a baby girl in the next few months. I'm using this color combination as I'm sure my friend will get mainly pink cards. Which is absolutely fine but its nice to have something different don't you think?

~~I just love the new colored doilies!!!~~

If you wish to purchase Stampin up's annual catalog or any of the products I use please pop over to my shop (you can find this on my blog page at the top)

Have a fab rest of the week!!

Stampin up 'Rooted in love' stamp set

Morning all,
what a busy few days I've had! I've made some changes on my blog, can you see? For those of you who don't know me, I'm Nikki 'the non computer geek', I literally suck when it comes to anything technical (my other half and friends can vouch for that one) But with a lot of determination I've managed to add a few small things :D very proud of myself.

So I produced my 3rd ever youtube video the other day eeeek!! super proud of myself I'll tell ya.

This is the card I made!

What do you think?

I just love the DSP used in these pictures.

As stated in my youtube video the candy dots used on the sentiment retired a while ago, I suddenly came across them in my drawer ad just had to use them. I'm sorry :(

If you want to watch the video please click on the link provided. This will take you straight to my youtube channel
