Good afternoon all, so its exactly a week since me and the girls where in Telford for the onstage stampin up convention. I met some fabulous and very talented crafters some of which I have become friends with :D.  I came away promising myself that I will blog more often so it starts from today!!

So after a hectic week with work and just the day to day chores of maintaining a house and being a mother we celebrated my father in laws birthday today over lunch which was really nice. My craft room has been blitzed (after I made this card of course) now time to relax with our little lady.

Easter card swap

Good evening everyone, went to the farm with our daughter yesterday and now I've got a slight snotty nose and feeling a little pants. But now the evening is ours..... yippie !!! so I'm in my craft room and just completed my Easter card swap and making a few more cards for the brain tumour charity to raise money. Magnolia 'celebrate' card

Good evening all

           

so today has been a very proactive day. The bride has purchased her dress for her big day, I have tried my dress on and its gorgeous, fed and watered with a pint to celebrate our success followed by a little retail therapy :D beautiful . Hope you've all had a lovely day.

So here is this evenings card hope you like.
Using my aqua painter from stampin up i have selected 5 inks to color in this beautiful stamped image, cut and embossed using an old die, distressed the edge of my image with my Tim Holtz distresser , added a sentiment from stampin up 'birthday wishes' selection. Stamped, coloured and punched a flower from ' the flower shop' selection, added a few brads, gems and ribbon and that was it :D oh and i stapled the edge of my image :).

Happy Birthday card

Good evening all, so our puppy had his first haircut today :D he smells divine, so whilst he was being pampered we had a look round some of the shops in the near by town Then had my friend round for our normal Monday catch up and spaghetti bolognaise. Had enough time to make this 'Happy Birthday' card using stampin up products.

I've now decided to sell my cards and all money raised will be donated to a charity which is all too close to home 'brain tumor trust'. My boss is allowing me to set up a little space in our 2 offices to help me :).
Well anyway I'm off to get showered and have an early night as were going bride and bridesmaid dress shopping with my best friend who is getting married next year :D

washi tape cards

Hello everyone from a dull New forest, Im now on annual leave from work for 2 weeks :D I am very happy to say the least, I finished work at 13:30 today, made 2 cards using washi tape that I haven't used for agggggggges and now Im going to prep the roast dinner for later.


So here are my two cards using washi tape, twine/ string and a few little extras to bring the card together :D
